Celtic see off Dunfermline
Celtic are through to the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup thanks to a 4-2 victory over First Division Dunfermline in an action-packed game at East End Park on Sunday.

Diomansy Kamara fired Tony Mowbray's men in front with a stunning strike from the edge of the box in 20 minutes but David Graham equalised almost immediately and Andy Kirk put the Pars ahead from the penalty spot in 28 minutes after Paul Caddis was judged to have pushed Steven Bell.

Morten Rasmussen levelled from close range just before the break and his pressure caused Calum Woods to divert the ball into his own net in 59 minutes before Robbie Keane, on as a substitute, sealed Celtic's passage with a penalty midway through the second period.

Aberdeen or Raith, Dundee, Dundee United, Hibernian, Kilmarnock, Ross County and holders Rangers or St Mirren complete the last-eight line-up, with the draw at 1pm on Wednesday.(more on this match in todays Celtic news post coming later today)

Saturdays cup games--

David Goodwillie fired Dundee United into the last eight of the Scottish Cup as Peter Houston's side overcame St Johnstone 1-0 at McDiarmid Park on Saturday.

The striker, who netted at Partick Thistle in the previous round, was on target just before the break as United gained revenge for a League Cup defeat in Perth earlier this season.

Holders Rangers and St Mirren - who meet in the League Cup final next month - face an Ibrox replay for a quarter-final berth after a 0-0 draw in the lunchtime clash in Paisley.

Hibernian eased past Third Division strugglers Montrose 5-1 at Easter Road. Colin Nish's first-half double had Hibs in command and Derek Riordan, Abdessalam Benjelloun and Alan Gow all netted in the final quarter of the match with Chris Hegarty replying for the visitors.

Connor Sammon opened the scoring and youngster Liam Kelly bagged a brace as Kilmarnock posted a 3-0 victory over First Division Inverness CT at Rugby Park.

Gary McDonald was the Aberdeen saviour with an equaliser deep into stoppage time as the Dons drew 1-1 with Raith Rovers at Stark's Park. Iain Williamson had given the hosts a half-time lead.

In the two ties not involving SPL clubs, Dundee beat Ayr United 2-1 and Ross County hammered Stirling Albion 9-0.

Scottish Premier League

SPL Match-- Well edge out Accies
Craig Brown's Motherwell notched up a fifth consecutive clean sheet in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League with a 1-0 win over Hamilton Accies at Fir Park this afternoon.

Lukas Jutkiewicz scored his 10th SPL goal of the season - only Kris Boyd, Anthony Stokes and Kenny Miller have netted more - to leave Hamilton bottom of the table on goal difference.

Motherwell boss Craig Brown said: "It was a poor performance, hopefully we can play an awful lot better than that. There was no sharpness about us, no threat in front of goal. I genuinely believe a 0-0 draw was what the game deserved. It was competitive but it wasn't quality."

Hamilton manager Billy Reid said: "Once again we've conceded a scrappy goal. I thought we battered them for the last 25 minutes and probably deserved to get something. It's been the same for quite a few weeks, balls crossing about the line and it's just not going in."
